Cambodia looks to ‘reset ties’ with US

Cambodia news in English! Here you'll find all the breaking news from Cambodia translated into English for our international readership and expat community to read and comment on. The majority of our news stories are gathered from the local Khmer newspapers, but we also bring you newsworthy media from Cambodia before you read them anywhere else. Because of the huge population of the capital city, most articles are from Phnom Penh, but Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, and Kampot often make the headlines as well. We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. If you're looking for a certain article, you may use our site's search feature to find it quickly.

The simple explanation could be that the beggar and his bowl doesn't care who puts a coin in it.

Held up by Hilary's endless motorcade sweeping thru a back road to the airport on her way out after a two day visit.
The Obama visit caused epic traffic jams. They blocked off streets 100 or more meters from Russian Boulevard. I had to cross it from the north to get home and that wasn't happening. I ended up having to go around the north of Boueng Kak area, then the center of town/ riverside was a total fuck up too as he was staying at the Sunway or Le Royal and they blocked a huge area around that. Fucking annoying but sort of funny in retrospect. I did get to see Airforce 1 flying over near where I was on 598, quite awesome. :hattip:

Good news: most Cambodians are humble and nice..

Bad news: They need a little more dissention in the government, the freedom of speech rules so does the multiparty political system in the us.

That works really well here. You'll get the Kill the Yuon Party, the Kill Everyone Party, the Let's Be Nice and Kind Party and the Let's Just Keep Going Party and tons of other vague ones.
