Cambodia-China Friendship Bridge Between Kampong Cham and Tbong Khmum to Open in 2021

Cambodia news in English! Here you'll find all the breaking news from Cambodia translated into English for our international readership and expat community to read and comment on. The majority of our news stories are gathered from the local Khmer newspapers, but we also bring you newsworthy media from Cambodia before you read them anywhere else. Because of the huge population of the capital city, most articles are from Phnom Penh, but Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, and Kampot often make the headlines as well. We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. If you're looking for a certain article, you may use our site's search feature to find it quickly.

US bringing democracy to the rest of the world has always been a real success, for sure !
May not be a real success, but it's not a real failure either. Much worse without US efforts.
While we are at it, check out the followings. See a partern?
- China keeps quiet on the military coup to the elected Myanmar government
- China denounces the military coup to the authoritarian Ghana government

That's it?

You saw an opportunity to jump in with a negative response, and no input from yourself: Weak.

Firstly, Nellie, what's to say the requests for US assistance from Taiwan and South Korea, deterred China and N. Korea, respectively, from more aggressive action?

Secondly, US have fucked up, but they haven't sat on their hands, and you'd be fucked without them. Take your pick; Russian, Chinese or North Korean?

Did I ? A new bridge over the Mekong will be inaugurated soon, so you "saw an opportunity to jump in with a negative" off topic attack on China / Cambodia relationship. Living in the area, i may use this usefull bridge from time to time, built with chinese money. That's it, no more, good afternoon.
