Cambodia Lashes out at Washington

PHNOM PENH (Khmer Times) – The Council of Ministers has accused the US Embassy here of attempting to undermine the rule of law in Cambodia.

Its strongly worded attack came in response to a 3-paragraph press release issued by the embassy on Saturday.

The embassy called on the government to “carefully review” the controversial sentencing last week of 11 activists from the opposition Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP) – including one American-Cambodian – for “insurrection.”.......

I'd love to post an appropriate rejoinder for the government, if anybody knows people high-up, let me know.

Something like:

Still believe you won in Vietnam?

Hey, how did that Bay of Pigs thing work out?

Hey Bill, we believe you!

Hey Hillary, need a new moniker?

How's Donald chump doing, guys?

When I was doing research into getting the US government to let US citizens live in Cambodia and collect Social Security benefits, I came across a Wiki-leaks that US embassy Charge-a'-Affairs Theodore Allegra wrote to the US government. It states what a corrupt government runs Cambodia. BTW/ Allegra was given a promotion for "cementing" relations with the Cambodian Government.

'Cambodia's culture of corruption' hahaha.

Let's talk about Iraq, that was squeaky clean, let's talk about the Florida recount, that was clean, Nixon, Central America, Guantanamo, the NSA, CIA dirty tricks, ad infinitum.

Yep, I would choose America as a guiding light, definitely.

No corruption there.

Just look at how they get a new President...no ways money sways anything there.
