Phnom Penh, Cambodia: The joint committee decided to pump up the urine and the blood of the British tourist Marc Davey for testing, as they suspected that he died from drug overdose which led to heart attack. He had been found dead around 13:00 on 5 April 2015 in Walkabout Guest House/Bar located #109, st 51, Phsar Thmey 3, Daun Penh district.

Police said, the foreigner names Davey, Marc, male, born in 1987, English. He entered Cambodia as a tourist.

Source from the scene, on 4 April 2014, the victim and three of his friends checked in at the Guest house and he stayed alone in room 19. The day after on 5 April 2015. The cleaner went to knock the door in order to clean the room, but there was no response. So, the staff got the key and unlocked the room. Then, they found Marc Davey dead with his leg kneeing down on the floor and his head and body bent down on the mattress. Therefore, they reported it to the local authorities.

I think if he did died from drug overdoes, he might had bought some fake cocaine from those Tuk Tuk driver. There are a lot of rumour saying that Tuk Tuk drivers are selling fake cocaine and other drugs to tourists. Most of expats here know about it that's why there is no report about expats in Cambodia died from drug overdoes. Fake cocaine is really dangerous.

Poor guy. Looks like he's done quite a bit of traveling, according to his Facebook page. He's even been to the States and Dubai.

RIP.

Seems Marc Davey was with a group of friends from Lewd that had just arrived from Bangkok, Thailand and was out partying hard on their first night in Phnom Penh:

PHNOM PENH, Apr. 6 (Khmer Times) – A British man was found dead in the Walkabout Guesthouse in Psa Thmey 3 district on Sunday afternoon.

According to police captain Kol Kan Nara, Davey Marc, a 28-year-old from England, came to the Walkabout Guesthouse on Saturday with three of his friends.

A receptionist at the Walkabout said, “After I checked in to work, there were four men who came to our guesthouse badly drunk. One of the men asked his friends to take him to his room because he was so drunk already."

She said the men had come from Bangkok and spent their first night out in Phnom Penh drinking. A room cleaner found Mr. Marc's body at 1 pm on Sunday.

"Our cleaner went up to clean the rooms, then knocked his door and no one answered. She unlocked the door and saw he died on the bed and she came to report it to our manager immediately. Then we reported to the district police immediately," she said.

The police still don't know how Mr. Marc died, but they sent his body to Khmer-Soviet Friendship Hospital so his parents can take the body back to the UK and make funeral arrangements.

most deaths are probably due to diluted drinks, imo...

if you order spirits they may be stretched with some shit... to make some side money...

as ppl are drunk, they cant really figure it... though, some will die of it - even pretty regularly...
