It’s namesake, Bristol, Rhode Island is an idyllic postcard town. Hundreds of years old. Known as the most patriotic town in America. Independence Day parades started in 1777. And the parades are picturesque small town awesome.

In Bristol, locals will gladly take your picture with your phone at any one of the dozens of historical sites. Of course the person taking your picture will probably be Caucasian. Less than 1% Black. Less than 2% any race other than white.

And probably related to Mayflower descendants, or the Italians, or the Portuguese.

Is that racist enough?

To be fair, they’ll stab you for less in Bristol. It’s more like a sport for many in the UK nowadays. Not sure where race came in to it, but Bristol is both historic and a university town, and would be considered quite cosmopolitan by any measurable standards.

Should we get back to Marlon and his phone snatching any time soon??

him and a few others just take up all the air in the room on black and brown people It's not even worth debating and arguing w/ racists. The struggles of black and brown people are trivial to them. they control everything and decide what is worth protesting for and how to protest

Duncan is about 90 isn't he? It would explain his attitude to black British men, in his era his attitude was quite normal. We've moved on 50 years though.
