British Man Found Dead In Hang Pich Guest House

Phnom Penh: A British man found dead in Heng Pich guesthouse and his dead body was not found until it started to smell. His body was found around 12:00 pm on 17 December 2015 at room number 203 at Hang Pich guesthouse located on Monivong Blvd corner of 84 in Sras Chak commune, Daun Penh district.

According to Kampuchea Thmey Daily News, the foreigner named Nicholas Jonh Combe, British, 54 years old. He entered Cambodia as tourist. He has been staying in that guesthouse since 11 December 2015.

According to the source from the guess house, every day the foreigner always came out from his room and went out, but for the last couple day he didn’t come out from him. So the security guard at the guest house was specious and he went up to his room, but it was locked from inside. He knocked the door but no one answered. He then looked through into the room and saw the foreigner died lying on the bed and started to smell. After that the local authority was informed to come to check the body.

There were two foreigners died at this guesthouse and its believed that they died from drug overdoes which developed to heart attack.
After autopsy the police identified the cause of the death was heart attack as the victim had had heart problem. The body is now being kept at Khmer-Soviet Hospital.
