British Man JOHN DANIEL BECKETT Arrested for Attacking a Foreigner in Battambang

Cambodia News (Battambang): On July 5, 2020, the police of the Immigration Department of Battambang police station, arrested a 38-year-old British man, JOHN DANIEL BECKETT, for attacking a foreigner and living illegally in Battambang. The suspect was arrested following the orders of General Lieutenant Ouch Sokkhun, the Battambang police chief.

The police found that the suspect was living in Battambang without any legal document, but he was first detained because he attacked a foreigner on July 1, 2020, in Sangkat Svay Por, Battambang city.
After questioning and case preparation, the police sent the British man to the General Department of immigration to follow the legal action.

John Beckett was recently featured on CEO for threatening to kill another expat by hiring a hitman, so it's for the best that he's finally been arrested and hopefully jailed and/or deported.

Personally, I think they should ban all Brits coming here forthwith, they always cause trouble.

haha...there are plenty of sketchy charachters of all nationalities in Kampuchea.

But i must admit that in my experience in SE-Asia, the Brits certainly take the cake for anti social personality type behaviour.

I've noticed they also take the gold medal for talking absolute crap and big noting themselves.

Having said that, i have several dear friends in SE-Asia who hail from the UK, so it's not all bad. But most that move from Britannia to here i just don't jive with.

As another CEO member pointed out, this John Daniel Beckett was recently featured on CEO for threatening to kill another expat in Battambang by hiring a hitman. John Beckett (who goes by Dan J. Beckett on social media) even signed up and posted on CEO to tell his side of the story.
