British Man Arrested in Kampot for Drug Traffic

Cambodia news in English! Here you'll find all the breaking news from Cambodia translated into English for our international readership and expat community to read and comment on. The majority of our news stories are gathered from the local Khmer newspapers, but we also bring you newsworthy media from Cambodia before you read them anywhere else. Because of the huge population of the capital city, most articles are from Phnom Penh, but Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, and Kampot often make the headlines as well. We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. If you're looking for a certain article, you may use our site's search feature to find it quickly.

I never once said i dont like him, i dont know him, i called him a twat, that goes for anyone who still calls mdma molly.
Congrats on his long life and travels, and i am sure he has some stories to tell. I have read some of them.here.
Molly (MDMA) and Sally (MDA) are both street drugs that fall under the amphetamine (stimulant) and phenethylamine (psychedelic) drug classes. Neither of these substances has been approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for medical use and are illegal to use, buy, or sell.
Sorry, I am here looking at Google myself, I do know of the drug ecstasy, but mostly was at the time of my life having more responsibilities to not being a somewhat regular partaker. I would think very similar or maybe not! Too taking a few acid tabs followed by numerus lines of speed.
I was trying to find an article I once read about a guy going in search of the safrole oil in the Cardamom, after the boom time if you wish, that time most oil was to go to Canada, possessed along with the other two substances into the drug ecstasy then shipped to Europe.
Going back to the guys search he stumbles across some, a 350ml drinking water bottle in a store not far out from Koh Kong and pays something on the lines of $300 then sells it in a western country for $3000.
Always "hope" but never "expect".

UPDATE:

He updated his car to a brand new Lexus 470/570 from the Rangie. Apparently now in the custody of police as he drove it to the Post Office.

Meanwhile his newly completed 2 story home in Andoung Khmer has suddenly hit the market for $450k. Grossly overpriced in any area so it wont sell in a hurry.

Built facing away from the views of Bokor mountain.

His 'wife' is disliked as she 'hi-so' everybody.

Seeing as he was publicly outed in all the media in Cambodia the speculation is it is too late to negotiate and the wife wants the money for herself.

Nice enough sober but utter twat when drinking.

Why didn't he just buy his way out given his apparent considerable means?
I'm sure his truck is valuable but not as much as the years lost in squalor.

This guy used to live in Khon Kaen, NE Thailand around 7 years or more ago. He was known as Charlie and from Portsmouth, or certainly the accent fitted. Whilst Charlie was around there was certainly a lot of MDMA powder around, so I suspect he might have been doing this for a while. He had a fight every time he went out and drove a Mercedes Benz during that time. He also had a brother called Danny who popped over from the UK once in a while.
