Ok, he's been found!
Sent to us from his family:
"Dean has been found, though online appeals somebody waited at the embassy and hospital an in a twist of fate Dean appeared and we have been in contact with him. We have a someone who's offered to keep him and help him gather his belongings, take him to hospital to be cleared to fly, and try recover his passport then keep him untill we can arrange flights
Turns out he was taking some kind of tablets
Thankfully not heroine"

lets thank the gods he will make it out, unlike others
SO will ceo news correct anything ? ( NOT HEROIN) and DEAN not in the hospital, or will they be like BBC an just report the first incident and NEVER follow up Bad news sells faster than good news
Look i know u have to defend ur team, but why not leash them in on the sensationalism reporting??

Re: British Drug Smuggler Martin Stephen Hale Dies of Heroin Overdose in Phnom Penh and Dean William McWilliams Hospital
Belfast Telegraph has picked up the story now:
Body of Lisburn man Martin Hale found in hostel in Cambodia
Martin Stephen Hale, from Lisburn, was discovered on Friday on the floor of a room in the Happy House Guesthouse in Phnom Penh.
The 34-year-old had been travelling with Dean William McWilliams, from Antrim, who was also found lying on the floor, close to Mr Hale's body.
...In 2013, Mr Hale was arrested with two others in Northern Ireland and charged with conspiracy to supply Class B drugs after police intercepted a £400,000 consignment of suspected herbal cannabis on a lorry from Scotland. Mr Hale was also charged with having criminal property...
They don't even say "alleged" or "suspected," they just state the fact that he was charged with the crimes.

Yes, that is accurate, if still a bit of a cheap shot. Regardless of whatever the outcome of the trial was, (assuming there was a trial,) he was in fact arrested at some point for those crimes. Sounds to me like the Telegraph also doesn't know the outcome of the trial and/or they want to try to imply that he has a history of involvement with drug crime.General Mackevili wrote:Belfast Telegraph has picked up the story now:

@phuketrichard,
Source: http://www.irishnews.com/news/2016/07/0 ... ia-594593/It is expected that the body of Mr Hale will be returned home at the weekend.
His mother Teresa Temple said on Tuesday night that he had suffered a heart attack after taking drugs.
She told the BBC: "I know that it was morphine tablets that he had taken and they caused a heart attack.

You said you could provide legal documents showing that. I'm waiting. I'll gladly edit the article in that case, as previously stated to you.Air lines wrote:Here write liars and idiots. And we have never said he was convicted of possession of drugs or smuggling.
Seems you want to just provide a random article which says he was acquitted, yet you condemn us for providing another random article that says merely says he was charged.
There are more articles about him that don't mention the acquittal than articles that do, and you could clear things right up if you just provided the legal documents.
Don't blame us for repeating what's in articles, yet you want us to change things based on a single article you provide.
If he was acquitted, surely there are documents showing this.

Re: British Drug Smuggler Martin Stephen Hale Dies of Heroin Overdose in Phnom Penh and Dean William McWilliams Hospital
I have gone ahead and updated the title to be as accurate as possible based on the latest updates.
Again, we are limited with the number of characters in a title, but I've added "accused" drug smuggler, and changed "heroin overdose" to just plain "overdose."
I think it's a bit hypocritical for you to expect us to put more weight on info sent to us by anonymous members than info posted in newspaper articles from the UK.
And I am I a "suspected" twat and was acquitted of being a cock sucker, thank you very much.
