We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. Bombs Found Outside High School

Post by CEOCambodiaNews »

Cambodia Breaking News (Oddar Meanchey): On June 16, 2019, at 1:50 pm, some people gave the alert after they found bombs in front of a high school, in Routh Champey, Samrong district, Oddar Meanchey.

The specialist police went to check at the scene and found four Soviet made B40 bombs buried in the pit with black powder, and a DK bomb was hidden 100 meters from other bombs. The police contacted the CMAC team to come and remove the bombs.

A message sent to its director? Doesn't look like they've been buried or something.

Shit those don't look like buried relics from the 70's.

They look brand new. :(

Looks like someone was attempting to make an IED out of those rockets (not bombs).

The white plastic piping and loose gunpowder would seem to concur.

Primitive at best..............so fucking dangerous a set up that almost a suicide action to set it off with the black powder. First dewy night or rain would disrupt the plans.

Regardless, this story is quite troubling. I hope we get some followup reporting.

Aren't those just plastic tubes used to transport the PG-2s or whatever they are?
Silence, exile, and cunning.
