Are you fuckers really having a pissing contest about who has talked to the guy more since his wife has arrested?General Mackevili wrote: ↑Thu Jun 13, 2019 1:04 am
I don't follow the logic that whoever can come up with the wildest speculation must be in closer contact with him. I've been in contact with him a lot since this happened (as a friend, not interrogating him), as I'm concerned for him.

I think you've (intentionally?) read into that wrong. My only point is that I don't see how someone could assume that those in touch with him would be more convinced that all the crazy accusations are more accurate. I think it's much more logical to assume that if he was really 'on the run from authorities' that his pics would be all over social media, but they aren't, so based on what he's said, and the fact that the police aren't publicly trying to locate him strongly suggests that it's all a bunch of gossipy bullshit.Cam Nivag wrote: ↑Thu Jun 13, 2019 2:06 amAre you fuckers really having a pissing contest about who has talked to the guy more since his wife has arrested?General Mackevili wrote: ↑Thu Jun 13, 2019 1:04 am

And I don't see how anyone could fault a husband for simply doing all he can to try to get his wife a lawyer in this situation, period.

This crime has sparked wild speculation amongst expats obviously. To suggest that he should walk away from the kids at this stage is very heartless. They are obviously part of his family and the crime does not change that. I am raising two kids that are not mine and most men would have run away from my situation a long time ago. But I raised my own child in even worse circumstances and he is now a wonderful man. If I live long enough these kids will be wonderful too.
The more they tell me about the machinations in Khmer families the less I respect the culture. My son tells me that his Thai mum has finally written off her family after more than 40 years of demands for money. She is 67 now and terminally ill.
Khmers in Australia tell me the husband was involved. Well of course they do, ignorant peasants dine out on these stories.

I gotta say I don't know why you would encourage a lawyer the woman is guilty of a horrible murder of a mother for relatively small money. By all accounts the Alamo husband hasn't got a bean to his name having spent most of his cash bailing out the psychotic wife. As far as I know a lawyer in a case like this would be a minimum retainer of $1000 and the thousands more to achieve what? Presumably he is gonna have to borrow this with no means of paying it back with 2 or 3 kids who aren't his own to potentially raise. So why is he doing this? Is he hoping to raise money to help her or to get the hell out of dodge himself. I don't believe he was part of it per Dr, but again Bit odd you stay drugged for several days as it now appears to be without wondering what's going on. Most people can know through the feeling of being drugged.
Is it also true about the kid driving the dead ladies bike? that's even weirder. "hey kid, drive my good friends bike away Will you, she er... Left it here"
It's all a mess and hopefully the truth comes out and everyone who is guilty in the heinous crime are correctly dealt with by the law.
Stupid woman should have just run her friend over in a car that's the legitimate way of killing someone in the KOW

During any phone calls people /trusted friends have had with the guy did he ask for money for the lawyer? If so did you agree to help or not and if not, why not?

It's weird, but she seemed to enjoy her moment on fame telling al about her 'smart' murder...Cam Nivag wrote: ↑Wed Jun 12, 2019 1:12 pmHow hard is it to say "I haven't seen her" or "I saw her a few nights ago then she left and I haven't seen her since."Felgerkarb wrote: ↑Wed Jun 12, 2019 12:29 pmThe daughter of the victim knew she was last known to visit the perp, so the cops picked her up for questioning Monday night.
For someone claiming to be so smart at pulling off a murder, I'd expect her to be better at dealing with police questioning.
She must be quite something.

TBH honest dude, that's a pretty insulting comment to both members and the General imo..even if you are trying hard to be sarcastic. I think you're lucky to have been given a reply explanation rather than a holiday. The General said the guy is a friend...couldn't you have left it at that rather than come up with your insulting suggestion that he called him with an ulterior motive.Cam Nivag wrote: ↑Thu Jun 13, 2019 2:06 amAre you fuckers really having a pissing contest about who has talked to the guy more since his wife has arrested?General Mackevili wrote: ↑Thu Jun 13, 2019 1:04 am

And your earlier post:
As another poster said the suggestion is pretty heartless. What world do you live in? The guy is married to her FFS...do you think it would be easy to to turn the emotions on and off again like a faucet? How about keeping your judgmental 'shoulds' to yourself?Getting a lawyer should be her priority, not his. If he believes she committed murder to conceal the fact she owed money, he should walk away from the whole thing right now.
They haven't been married all that long. The kids aren't his. I don't even know that the kids are hers. I don't think he has any obligation to her or the kids at all.
