Body of Western Man Found Dead on Phnom Penh Street

Post by CEOCambodiaNews »

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On April 21, 2020, at 9 am, the body of an unidentified foreigner was found on the concrete road near Vong Borey pagoda, Sangkat Teuk Thlar, Khan Sen Sok, Phnom Penh.

After receiving the information, the specialist police went to the scene to examine the body. They said that the victim is aged about 50 years old and white-skinned; they think he might be an American or British national. The police post mortem examination concluded that the victim died of hepatitis or liver disease.
However, local people at the scene did not agree with the police diagnosis, and speculated that the victim might have died of something else. Also, they found it strange that the victim was found lying there in the street, with no personal possessions on him, no money or papers or keys or passport.
RIP.

So, have we gotten to the point in today's society where everyone is so fucking delicate that we have to put photos, which are completely pixelated, into a spoiler?

Does there exist a human being that would find offense in a pixelated blob?

Its hard to try to identify someone when there is no photo of the face.

I am not saying to show all details of a deceased person but when the person is unidentified then this is the only way to allow someone who knew them to be able to advise the competent authorities of the persons name and address, where his passport may be.

Umm, maybe the family of the dead man feel otherwise: his wife, his kids, his brothers, his sisters, his grandparents, his close friends. Well, you get the idea :dm:

I don't see the problem, Brody, for most people it's not a huge effort to click on a spoiler, but it means that you agree to look at the content. If not, then don't click.
Seriously, how can it 'offend' you that some spoilers contain pixelated photos of dead bodies ? Are you upset because they are not explicit enough ? Sorry, not getting you here.

You might have rightly identified the cause of death. RIP
