She was quite a person. I remember when she first moved to Cambodia she had something about 'living free' or 'living life' or something to that effect tattooed in Khmer on her arm. And she did.

Cambodia has lost an excellent cook of German, French, and Dutch cuisine. In addition it has lost a colorful character, life here will not be the same without her daring spirit of adventure.

Oh no, that is sad. She seemed in good spirits last I saw, she had just moved up from Sihanoukville to work at a Swedish (?) restaurant. When I first met her, I can't say I immediately warmed to her, but she was certainly a fiery character with a good few stories and was always welcome in the bar.

Strangely enough one of the last things she said to me was (whilst asking for a very small tab until she got paid) 'the only way I would not pay a tab is if I died'.

Anyone know cause of death?
