Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On December 12, 2020, the body of a 36-year-old Chinese man, identified as MENG WEIEN, was discovered locked in a suitcase left at the Cintri garbage dump, in Sangkat Dongkor, Khan Dongkor, Phnom Penh.

At 10:19 pm, a Hyundai truck plate PP3E-4690 from Koh Pich took the garbage to throw at the C area of Cintri company in Khan Donkor. After completing all the documents, the Koh Pick truck then left the area.
But when the Cintri workers pushed the garbage, suddenly they saw a closed suitcase. A 30-year-old man, a junk collector, took the suitcase and broke the lock to check inside and he found a body, so then, he asked for help. The dump manager then called the police immediately.

After the examination by the specialist team, the police found indications that the victim was seriously tortured and injured before he died and was locked in the suitcase.
For the moment, police have concluded that the victim was murdered. The body has been taken to keep at Steung Meanchey pagoda, waiting for the family to come and claim it. RIP.
