Banteay Meanchey, Cambodia: a Toyota car had unsuccessfully passed other car and crushed a PCX motorbike heading from the different direction in which caused the driver ( Belgian) to have broken leg and his Cambodian wife to have broken thigh. Then they were sent to Battambang province for emergency assistance. The car driver fled the scenes after the accident.

This accident occurred around 5:30 pm on 26, Feb, 2015 along 6A national road in Banteay Meanchey province.

Mr plek vichet, traffic police in preas net preas district said, before the accident, there was a Toyota car, colored dark yellow, plate number 2AD-2812 was heading from the west to the east direction. Then when it arrived the scenes, it tried to pass other car in the left side and crashed a PCX motorbike, colored red, plate number, Takeo 1H-672 driven by Belgian names Robert, 28 years old. He is living in battombong downtown with his wife names Nam Phanet, female, 25 years old.

He added, the cause of the accident was that the car driver didn't pay attention when passing other car in which resulted the motor driver to have his leg broken and his wife to have her thigh broken.

Brutal injuries, but at least they lived. Could have been much worse. No head trauma. Bones heal. I hope the get good emergency care.
