Balconies Decay and Fall in ORussey
Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): Many parts of balconies of 60-year-old townhouse complexes in Sangkat Orussey 4, Khan 7Makara, crumbled and crashed to the ground due to old age. The buildings, which date from the 1960s, are deteriorating and becoming dangerous despite the attempts of the residents to fix them. Fortunately, nobody was injured during the crash and the damage was not too catastrophic.
However, the residents who currently live in the complex expressed their concerns about their safety, saying that next time there is an accident, they might not be so lucky.

Re: Balconies Decay and Fall in ORussey
Lucky no one was hurt. But for a 60 year old building some would think it old! Ancient Roman concrete was a type of concrete used with hydraulic cements that are very similar to today’s Portland cement, and some of them buildings still stand today, why can't we get the mixture right today.
Always "hope" but never "expect".

Concrete cancer caused/exacerbated by a lack of maintenance over the years. Can see it in buildings here everywhere.

Despite what angsta states, it’s clear from reading through his posts that angsta supports the free FreePalestine movement.
