I lived a few km outside of kampot and heard that from my neighbors a lot. It is really catchy, so easy to remember.
Hey i thought you were living in pp when you were here. Right this phrase is really famous, you can hear it almost everywhere.

Yes, mostly, but I visited kampot a lot and eventually wanted a slower pace, so my last few months were spent just outside kampot town.

Maybe first he tried to hack her on the head, but he ended up cutting her hand instead and possibly the local news reported it wrong or it was typo and most of local news are suck. Lol
