No idea at this point. Only the Australian was reported to me.MekongMouse wrote:How many locals though?
Hopefully we will have more details soon.
The victim's mother is the one who told me about it.

Where is the bus driver and driver of other vehicles involved (if applicable). I know highway 5 like the back of my hand. I can't think of any stretch where a misjudgment could have a bus lying on it's side.
An thinking alcohol and/or blatant stupidity was involved. Where was Joon?

Ok, sounds like nobody on the bus was seriously injured, thank Buddha.

Ok, the bus landed in water, and people were trapped inside until they were able to break the front glass windshield.

Re: Australian Woman in Battambang /Phnom Penh Bus Crash
Looking at the pics, it's astonishing that nobody died. I used to live in BTB for a year and did that route every couple of weeks traveling on Capitol (the least worst option, which isn't saying much) and the only way to cope would be to do a xanax, drink a couple of cans of beer and NOT LOOK AHEAD AT HOW THE DRIVER WAS NAVIGATING THE ROAD. I think the drivers are under pressure to get the journey done in about 5 and a half hours so they are constantly overtaking heavy goods vehicles.

I wonder who that was?
Just over a year ago the Crapitol bus crashed on same route with crazy N on board, he got a couple of broken ribs.
Why anybody takes these lurching piles of shit when it's only a tenner for the minibus is beyond me.

Agreed. And it looks like it fell a small distance from up on the road, which is elevated.keeping_it_riel wrote:Looking at the pics, it's astonishing that nobody died.
