Australian Expat JAMES NEAL PASCOE Arrested in Phnom Penh for Selling Oranges & Orange Juice

Cambodia news in English! Here you'll find all the breaking news from Cambodia translated into English for our international readership and expat community to read and comment on. The majority of our news stories are gathered from the local Khmer newspapers, but we also bring you newsworthy media from Cambodia before you read them anywhere else. Because of the huge population of the capital city, most articles are from Phnom Penh, but Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, and Kampot often make the headlines as well. We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. If you're looking for a certain article, you may use our site's search feature to find it quickly.

As usual you are wrong Pineapple:

2016 figures:

English (36.1%)
Australian (33.5%)[38]
Irish (11.0%)
Scottish (9.3%)
Chinese (5.6%)
Italian (4.6%)
German (4.5%)
Indian (2.8%)
Greek (1.8%)
Dutch (1.6%).
obviously you never went to the outer suburbs of any big australian city, most them are foreign third worlders or
go into a dole office and see if you can find someone who speaks english....

As my old Cajun bait seller used to say, "I opes you luck.

Yes, I did and this sentence
white australians are a minority in most of australia.
is just plain wrong. Now your fellow Bogans may have limited English skills and spend all their Dole money on booze but they are still white Australians. And if anyone should complain about foreigners, it is the Aborigines, not someone that is a descendant of a criminal that arrive on a convict ship 4 generations ago.

Ha! To be honest, it is probably the off-topic stuff that keeps a forum alive. I could use an example, but I will behave myself.

yeah that is how trolls operate by definition.
please report troll socks or troll posts.
Wikipedia defines it as:

"Someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as a forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.”

the sock derailment of this thread is a classic example and rightly called out as such with said sockpuppet of beerinthemorning banned.
now beerinthemorning you have a week off. that will be extended if you try and circumvent with more socks.

Did they go like : "Oh Oh Oh, there's an orange juice seller but he's barang, let's investigate !" ?
Why would you think anyone had reported him? He was holding the wrong visa for what he was doing. He was in luck with immigration, only got off with a caution. It could have been very worse. The law states, fine or and imprisonment, worst is deportation.
I feel sorry for him, and many comments on the post. He was only helping out is lady.
But it does make you think what you can and can’t do.
That's what the article says "After someone reported him".

And is it even considering as work as he's not earning any salary ? Except maybe his wife paying him in orange.
Don't forget the water buffalo
