For my two cents I always found what that arrogant, pompous asshole did hounding the CCF, and Child Protection Unit, both of whom, in my opinion have done far greater good for this country than that blowhard pedo apologist ever did, an absolute disgrace. Wasn't it all to do with them refusing him access to a vulnerable little girl in their care rescued from the dumps and he needed to access her to finish his documentary and when they rightly refused he went on his nut job rantings and slander for years with his pathetic persecution complex. Strange how someone who claims to do so much for Cambodian's didn't see that of course when youngsters are in care be it here or Australia that y'know they might have a policy of letting weird old men who arent related to any of the kids have access to them. Course he's in for a trumped up charge, but as someone said, piss on a tiger don't complain if you get bitten. A few years in a Cambodian jail is what this guy needs, time for a bit of self reflection, first time for everything.

Australian filmmaker James Ricketson, who has spent more than seven months in Cambodian prison on allegations of “espionage”, had a ruling on his final bid for bail delayed at the Supreme Court this morning.

Ricketson, 68, last week made an impassioned plea for his release. His clothes were soaked in sweat and he claimed police had “beaten” him. He said he came to Cambodia to help the poor and make films, not to spy for foreign nations, as the charges against him allege.

His lawyer, Peung Yok Hiep, said the case was delayed because not all judges were present as they were “busy” with meetings or workshops. A decision on his bail application will instead be issued on January 31...
