16 Arrests in Kampong Cham Drug Raid

Cambodia News (Kampong Cham): On May 31, the specialist police collaborated with Prey Chor district police and Chamkar Leu district police, arresting 16 men in Kampong Cham in a crackdown on local drug trafficking.

The suspects were identified as Chen Chumbol, a 24 years old man, Van Sopheak, 21 years old man, Mao Mengsey, 16 years old, Kim Sokdavin, 17 years old, Phon Sopha, 19 years old, Phon Sopha, 19 years old, Horn Vanny, 37 years old, Choeun Bunthach, 28 years old, Te Saran, 39 years old, Seing Kimhorng, 28 years old, Thol Marady, 17 years old, Reth Naren, 31 years old, Nhem Vechet, 35 years old, Cheang Vanna, 21 years old, Ouk Daneth, 19 years old, Leang Chey, 28 years old, Hen Vila, 32 years old.

The police confiscated three big packets and 31 small packs of methamphetamine, 10 phones, and 5 motorbikes. The suspects with the evidence were detained at Kampong Cham police station for case preparation.
