According to Huy Bunleng on Facebook, Artur Segarra has been captured and arrested in Sihanoukville! Well done to Cambodian authorities.

Seems like his visa had expired. He could be in big trouble for that.General Mackevili wrote: visa numbers TI 09758149 valid 08.10.2015.
So, he crossed the border illegally then?

The Thai media make it sound like he's made numerous border crossings since his Thai visa expired, so presumably he had to enter Cambodia illegally if he wasn't properly exiting Thailand.Username Taken wrote:Seems like his visa had expired. I haven't passed the Thai or Cambodian bar (yet), but it seems that the Thai authorities have a bit of work to do before they can get Artur back.
He's the prime suspect, but hasn't been charged with murder yet, and I don't think that just being a prime suspect is enough to get you extradited to a country.
They will first have to charge him with the murder, then request he be extradited back to Thailand.
Could get interesting, or not.

He made numerous visa runs to neighbouring countries legally but was currently illegal in Thailand and came into Cambodia at O'Smach, which is probaly the easiest official border crossing to sneak out of Thailand and into Cambodia. Also corrupt as fok so a good place to bring back excessive quantities of cheap booze and 'pharmaceuticals' into Thailand. Quite a few very impressive multimillion $$ teak houses full of rosewood furniture SW of Surin...General Mackevili wrote:The Thai media make it sound like he's made numerous border crossings since his Thai visa expired, so presumably he had to enter Cambodia illegally if he wasn't properly exiting Thailand.Username Taken wrote:Seems like his visa had expired. He'll be in Thailand soon enough.
The interesting part will be whether the Thais are caught.
