Another Violent American Druggy Arrested in Sihanoukville!
33 year old American national, Thomas Joseph Sullivan, was arrested in Sihanoukville, Cambodia for what sounds like property damage.
The article mentions drugs and drug criminals, so he might have gone beserk and just tore the place up yelling about the drug dealers or something.
Feel free to take a whack at the translation.
Another foreigner who is believed to have been under the influence of drugs and have been accused of destroying Oh2 guest house’s properties, was arrested yesterday by 4:00 pm, on December 21, 20014 at 5 commune and 4 district, Sihanoukville province.
Police said, "The foreigner is American, named SULLIVAN THOMAS JOSEPH, 33 years old and holding pass port number xxxxxxx"
Police added, " This foreigner has always been causing trouble in many guest houses in Sihanoukville. Now we are waiting the US embassy's staffs in Phnom Penh to come and send him back to US.

Easily done when you take Christ out of it. I regularly pass a tuktuk on 271 that has a marketing board that reads "Happy December Events" - that's about as PC a Christmas greeting as I've seen!Anchor Moy wrote:I blame Xmas

Ok. This story could get even crazier, LoL.
The conversation below was on CEO's Facebook page with someone who says they lived in the same building as this guy and were there when he got carried off by police.
They are also saying that the guy has been using someone else's passport because his is expired.
I have no way to validate any of this at the moment, but here is the conversation:

...he lived downstairs from me. Sunday was more exciting than I had planned. The owner had gone to Kampot for a wedding, so when he went of his tree the cleaning lady had to borrow my phone to get the cops. The Sihanoukville cops were very good at sorting it out.
CEO wrote: Interesting. Was he working in Cambodia or what?
Yes he was working for himself. He had a meth lab in his room. Unfortunately I retreated to my room and missed seeing the equipment being wrapped up by the cops. I think his passport had expired and he has been using a photocopy of someone else's. He has been taken to Phnom Penh. I hear the jail there isn't a nice place.
CEO wrote: Wow. What happened? He was high on drugs and went crazy in a guesthouse?
Do you mean his visa was expired or his passport? The passport is the picture is still valid. Does the picture match him?
No it's not him but I haven't seen any passport. The cops showed us a photocopy. I got the impression from talkingvto others here that his passport expired, so he couldn't have a current visa, or I wouldn't think so.
He was cooking meth in his room. I thought he was just crazy & kept well clear of him, particularly after he told me that ebola was now airborne and on its way. On Sunday arvo he started hassling other tenants. He tried to get into my place then took on a very large Russian sailor. Then he went downstairs. I heard a lot of arguing and screaming so I checked over the balcony. The cleaning lady is about 140cm tall & 50kg wringing wet so I was a bit worried about her.
Anyhow she saw me & says "Som bong telephone". So I slung her my phone and after a few minutes 2 turned up who only spoke Khmer. They rapidly ascertained that they were going to need backup including someone who speaks Anglais. A couple of minutes later another 6 cops roll up followed by a GR guy with his AK47 at the ready.
I was previously unaware of what a tazer sounds like, but I know now. Eventually 6 cops carried him off.
But it gets better. He somehow escaped from the cops on Sunday night. They picked him again at Otres Monday morning as I understand.

Would make for a great action movie, shame the target audience would be small.
