:popcorn: Another English guy trying to kill himself on 136st,seems to know me which is to my detrement.Just seen him in Mr Butterfly tapping beer,if you come across him tell him to sort himself out,he is very educated and in his hearts of hearts knows he should go home.

What does it mean when someone is "tapping beer"? Is that British/Aussie slang for something, or does it just mean "pouring beer from a tap," which is usually not evidence of a suicide attempt.

It could mean that he is draining beer from that hose that leads from the keg to the beer tap. It's similar to how Nigerians "tap oil" from pipelines.

I wondered that, and after extensive research came up with the "tapping beer" joke where you tap someones beer bottle to make it foam over. Seems like a good way to get killed or seriously maimed if you tried it in a bar. :lol:

But very few patrons in Street 136 bars are drinking from bottles. My best guess was that the guy was sneaking behind the bar and pouring his own beer, and that this is suicidal because you can get stabbed for that where PIEMAN is from?

"Tapping beer." I don't know.
