Annoyed Gunman Shoots Bank Security Guard for Refusing Entry

Cambodia news in English! Here you'll find all the breaking news from Cambodia translated into English for our international readership and expat community to read and comment on. The majority of our news stories are gathered from the local Khmer newspapers, but we also bring you newsworthy media from Cambodia before you read them anywhere else. Because of the huge population of the capital city, most articles are from Phnom Penh, but Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, and Kampot often make the headlines as well. We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. If you're looking for a certain article, you may use our site's search feature to find it quickly.

The security guys have always been courteous and friendly when I’ve used banks and other businesses here, and is helping customers in their vehicles back safely onto the road such a bad thing?
It is when illegally they stop you and 200 other people abruptly so that some twat can reverse onto the main road slowly,

anyhow, clearly my post wasn't very serious - I only want to shoot one in five security guard jobsworths, on average
I didn’t think you’d really want to shoot them all.
But as regards security helping cars back out into traffic, surely in a country where tailgating and crazy over/undertaking is “normal” and the vast majority of motorists refusing to allow vehicles to merge into traffic, security stopping oncoming vehicles for 10 seconds and allowing a vehicle to back out should be appreciated.
It might be illegal? but it’s usually necessary, and if I’m the twat needing to get back into the road, it’s way better than sitting waiting for a non existent gap somewhere between 200 cars.

It's a pet hate of mine; would be nice if security guided the car drivers to reverse into the space to begin with

Hahaha if they reversed it would take them longer to park you could be waiting for hours.
It annoys me somewhat but then think hey it's Cambodia, you got plenty of time in your days and laugh it off, better than being in the west everyone in a hurry and don't want to pause for anyone and blast thier horns. Relax and enjoy the difference.

Would be even better if that person reversing could drive in the first place. And what is wrong with reversing into the parking space in the first place, so you would drive out safely in the direction of the flow of traffic.
Always "hope" but never "expect".

Oh, with a double doctorate (Universities of Cambodia & Indonesia) in traffic-driving, you can bet i'm smoothly inserting my vehicle in whatever kind of traffic with surgeon-like precision at whatever speed.
Quite a useful skill's benefit from asia for the ones coming home.
