I was on a flight recently where a guy was escorted to the plane by a police officer but was allowed to take his seat in economy without being escorted, on arrival in London passengers were asked to remain in their seats and as two police officers walked down the aisle the guy just held up his hand and was escorted off the plane.

Sounds about right to me. I mean, what's the guy gonna do, jump outta the plane mid-flight?

The answer to your question is probably that there are too many local crimes to publish and this is an expat site. But do a search on child rape/murder and you will find some.
