This. How many times do you have to be told before you get it through your head that you can file for divorce without him?? The mail here in Cambodia is consistently unreliable and it will cost you a lot to have something sent over from the US, and THEN I can guarantee the prison will not even give him the paperwork anyway. The officials in Cambodia usually don't speak English to even know the importance of them. Give it up! File abandonment, you can do it without him. Here's the info for filing abandonment in the virgin islands. I've seen more pathetic trolls in my lifetime but you really give them a run for their money.
No-fault divorce is a type of divorce in which the dissolution of a marriage has taken place without any wrong-doing from either party. In US Virgin Islands, that includes:

-Irretrievable breakdown of the marriage.

This is the only recognized grounds for dissolution of a marriage in US Virgin Islands. However, US Virgin Islands recognizes what are termed "covenant marriages," and those may be dissolved as a result of the following:

-Adultery;
-Conviction of a felony which mandates imprisonment or death;
-Abandonment for over one year;
-Commission of domestic violence against spouse, child, or relative;
-Living separately and continuously and without reconciliation for over two years;
-Living separately for over one year after a legal separation is obtained;
-Habitual use of drugs or alcohol; and
-Both spouses agree to a dissolution.

I Did not cheat on him, i was a very very good wife to Jason. Ask yourself, If I did cheat on him, then why did he get a tattoo of "2 j's with a wedding band around it" on his HAND, the day before he left island? I told him over and over for months that I was over his bullshit and wanted a divorce. He wouldnt believe me, so yeah I eventually moved on.....not with his best friend. It was barely an acquaintance. Get the story straight. If I did cheat on him, why were he and I still talking before he got locked up? He just doesn't want me in contact with his girlfriend because he knows the things I know about him and he feared I would tell her.

The embassy likely won't speak to her because of the privacy act. I'm sure he intentionally left her name off any disclosure paperwork he would've had to sign. Doesn't matter if she's the legal wife or not in that case. She has NO RIGHTS here. If they were to tell her anything, he could sue and put her in another mess of trouble.

Not really dude. Educate yourself. I've found out what I need to know. I could care less about his trial. That is the information the embassy will not give out. I can now rest in peace and continue my wonderful life. I have it good, and knowing that he is rotting in jail and she is insisting on rotting with him, makes me feel all tingly inside.
