American Jason Richard Barnett Kills GBT Guesthouse Staff

Cambodia news in English! Here you'll find all the breaking news from Cambodia translated into English for our international readership and expat community to read and comment on. The majority of our news stories are gathered from the local Khmer newspapers, but we also bring you newsworthy media from Cambodia before you read them anywhere else. Because of the huge population of the capital city, most articles are from Phnom Penh, but Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, and Kampot often make the headlines as well. We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. If you're looking for a certain article, you may use our site's search feature to find it quickly.

If you have all the official documents of being his ''legal'' wife, contact the embassy and they should give you all the information you need.

The embassy will be a lot better informed of his situation that anyone here will.
This. How many times do you have to be told before you get it through your head that you can file for divorce without him?? The mail here in Cambodia is consistently unreliable and it will cost you a lot to have something sent over from the US, and THEN I can guarantee the prison will not even give him the paperwork anyway. The officials in Cambodia usually don't speak English to even know the importance of them. Give it up! File abandonment, you can do it without him. Don't you have a life besides posting to a forum in another country about your ex husband who clearly doesn't care what happens to you?

The embassy likely won't speak to her because of the privacy act. I'm sure he intentionally left her name off any disclosure paperwork he would've had to sign. Doesn't matter if she's the legal wife or not in that case. She has NO RIGHTS here. If they were to tell her anything, he could sue and put her in another mess of trouble.

Unfortunately I cannot reach the embassy, due to time differences. I'm am not stalking Jason. There is nothing to stalk. I know more than enough. I am just trying to find out from the local people, how I contact the Preah Sihanouk provincial prison. I cannot find information on line as to how to go about getting mail to an inmate

First off I'm the only one trying to end our relationship. I can't do it fast enough. But unfortunately he is the one who is uncooperative and sneaky. And as for Natasha, I was trying to warn her of his sociopath behavior. But according to her, she DID A BACKGROUND CHECK.........and STILL let this man come ruin her life along with her daughters. I am not a victim any longer. I am the one who left Jason, I finally had the courage to leave him. He is the one who is holding on. Not sure why, if he has a new girlfriend

Hahahahahahah you are clearly uneducated about Virgin island marriage laws. It's not that easy. But trust me, with persistence and help of the interior government and the us embassy. I'm getting plenty of help. As you see, I haven't asked anymore questions. I'm good to go. my lawyer has everything In the works. Natasha and her "hero" can live happily ever after.....IF he gets out. Don't say I told you so!

Not really dude. Educate yourself. I've found out what I need to know. I could care less about his trial. That is the information the embassy will not give out. I can now rest in peace and continue my wonderful life. I have it good, and knowing that he is rotting in jail and she is insisting on rotting with him, makes me feel all tingly inside. Enjoy misery Natasha. And I hope you feel good about uprooting your daughter AGAIN, but this time, with a man full of a criminal and drug history. ((Claps)) MOTHER OF THE YEAR. I'm sure her dad is turning over in his grave.
