I tend to agree here. I'm not a big fan of PP's night life scene but you can't live in the city and not learn at least a little from the people around you. I've never heard of a girl from a bar so much as offering drugs (note: apart from the gap-toothed speed freaks of Walkabout - in that particular instance, I know a lot of guys who bought drugs rather than pussy from that less than fine establishment) let alone forcing them on customers.

The whole "the nasty prostitute drugged me your honour" remains the stuff of fantasies and is an excuse used by those who have consumed too much grog. Pretty much in the same way that when the UK police investigated claims of drink spiking by evil rapist men - they found that women drink too much too and spiking is non-existent. (P.S. That doesn't make rape OK; just that rapists take advantage of what they find not what they create).

Your stats are interesting. I didn't say that all tourist here were sex tourists just that it is a sex tourist destination. You lost me there Richard? Care to elaborate? Are you saying that only regular drug users OD? I would have thought it would have been the other way round?

Anyhow, I wasn't talking about female tourists, although they have be known to fuck Cambodians too (sorry make meaningful love ) they don't seem to appear dead in rooms and tuk tuks etc very often. IMO any male that comes to Cambodia is susceptible to going into one of its famous bars etc. Even better if they have no previous experience. Fresh meat. Buy me lady drink wicar?

What also interests me is that you don't often hear of non-western tourists being found dead in similar circumstances. I can't remember many on CEO or TOF in the last couple of years,nor in the PPP or CD? I think there was a Turkish guy and an Iranian, and possibly a Pakistani?

Is your main point that a lot of these tourists found dead in guest houses were not the sort of people who would use prostitutes or go to a girly bar out of interest?

Is it possible that it is just advertised more in CB as opposed to
other counties? You have extreme heat, jet lag, DVT's from long flights, in combination with drinking, dehydration, some drug use and not sleeping. All of this can wear on the body. I'm sure most come and go without any incident, (and

Advertised? No. Reported you mean. I think it's the fact that they don't want any bad news coming out that prevents us knowing what is what. I would say the reports in the media are more, but the reasons for the deaths are less. Heart attack, heart attack, heart attack. Or heart stopped as the literal translation would have it. That's just saying nothing but that the person is dead. They are really taking the piss.

In Africa I got all my news from the ground so to speak. From locals that were happy to share what they knew about their countries, and the events from places/ clubs we had both been to. That's completely different in SE Asia IMO.

Yes, of course they do. It's the increase in the one's that don't that interests me. I spent a fair bit of time in Africa where this is an every day occurrence. I'm just throwing it out there to see what others think.

As far as i know, YES, Even on Methadone , sex is not a part of the picture
a recreational coke user sex is great, but someone shooting or snorting more than a gram a day sex is not in the picture

Now sex on acid is fucking amazing

not that i am aware, there used to be rumors of this but it is seldom ever true, same with girls putting shit on their nipples to put the punter to sleep.
