American Expat FRANK WILLIAM CICCONE JR Passes Away in Phnom Penh
Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On December 17, 2020, a 64-year-old retired American expat, FRANK WILLIAM CICCONE JR, passed away in a house on street 172, Sangkat Chey Chumneas, Khan Daun Penh, Phnom Penh.
A 48-year-old woman, Krem Hoeun, the victim's wife, said she and her husband had been together for about 10 years. In 2016, the victim went to the USA to get meningitis treatment for 1 year. After that, he went to the USA once a year to get a health check. The victim always smoked 3 packets of cigarettes per day.
His wife said that on the day of his decease, she went to wake up her husband, and she shook him, and then she realized that he had passed away. Then, she reported the incident to the police immediately.
After receiving the information, the local police reported to the prosecutor. They collaborated with the Scientific-Technical police, the criminal police, the investigation and procedure department (Immigration Dept), and the autopsist to examine the body at the scene.
After the examination, the police concluded that the victim died of heart disease. The body was taken to keep at the mortuary at Teuk Thlar pagoda.
RIP, and condolences to the wife and friends of the deceased.
