American Expat BRADFORD BOWMAN EDWARDS Found Dead in Phnom Penh, Cambodia

Cambodia news in English! Here you'll find all the breaking news from Cambodia translated into English for our international readership and expat community to read and comment on. The majority of our news stories are gathered from the local Khmer newspapers, but we also bring you newsworthy media from Cambodia before you read them anywhere else. Because of the huge population of the capital city, most articles are from Phnom Penh, but Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, and Kampot often make the headlines as well. We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. If you're looking for a certain article, you may use our site's search feature to find it quickly.

I'd love to see some pictures of the collection. I visited Bradford's Phnom Penh home and his entire place was like an art exhibit.

A funny little musing: He had his alleyway door entrance locked up with a high-tech-looking fingerprint scanner (the front entrance was like a shophouse door). He showed me how cool it was, and then I wanted to try it. He locked it back up and let me scan my finger, and it opened right up for me. Oops, lol.

He is in cold storage.
even when he was alive he was not allowed any visitors as he owed money and died alone>

sad way to go

Where was this?

The only cold storage in Cambodia is run and owned by a western guy, and it is not located at any hospital. The body is not being released because no one has claimed it, has more to do with legal issues than getting money back.

They have a shit load of unclaimed bodies taking up space that they are stuck with.

I am amazed that no humanist, activist or NGO groups did not jump on such story.
