Maybe he was right.
Larry's had the police round at about 9pm saying close.
Harry's now shut too.
Seems the curfew is back on.

I didn't mean to mislead anyone with that post earlier, somehow this story popped up on my timeline and I didn't notice it was a few days old.

^ TIC - There is often a big difference between announcements and reality. And often the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing.
How was your wild night out in Phnom Penh, guys and girls ?

Thanks for the clarification JB. However, that article is still out of date as it continues and refers to the alcohol ban remaining in force until the 27th. The late in the day diktat on the 21st May changed all that.John Bingham wrote: ↑Sun May 23, 2021 1:31 am I didn't mean to mislead anyone with that post earlier, somehow this story popped up on my timeline and I didn't notice it was a few days old.

Phnom Penh City Hall has decided to extend the capital-wide curfew for the seventh week in a row until May 27 to curb the spread of Covid-19.
It is also extending the ban on alcoholic drinks sales and large gatherings while emphasising the need to follow health measures put in place by the government and Health Ministry.
This is in contrast to the announcement via AKP and also reported here on CEO
Phnom Penh municipal administration has decided to lift the 8pm-3am curfew, imposed recently as part of a measure to contain and prevent larger community spread of COVID-19 pandemic.

They lifted the curfew in all yellow zones, and that decision has been widely reported. I can't see there is much doubt about that.
I am beginning to think that something other than the time of day was upsetting the police at Larry's last night. Was anyone in there when they turned up?
