Some big names went down last year.

There is a fine line between a gifting culture and large-scale corruption that stands in the way of commercial enterprises

In this case a proposed factory was extorted, losing jobs and a contribution towards the economy.

Fair play - the perps are enjoying a stretch now.

First good work from the ACU we have seen.

First good work from the ACU we have seen.
Hopefully it is "good work" - but it is so easy to be cynical.
I really wish i wasn't so jaded in this area.
It would not be the ACU's first good work, but they seem to be very selective.

But anyway, yes we should be applauding.
It is human nature to respond better to appreciation for doing a good job, than to cynicism.
I do think there is some progress on this front - but like i say, it is pretty patchy.
