Cambodia Breaking News (Phnom Penh): On May 04, 2019, at 10:20 pm, a 56-year-old French man, MANUEL JACQUES DUPRE-GLEICHSNER, owner of La Marmite Restaurant, passed away in his house on street 108/51, Sangkat Wat Phnom, Phnom Penh.

Mr Dupre-Gleichsner was a longterm expat, living and working in Cambodia. His passport was issued by the French Embassy in Phnom Penh in 2012.

According to the examination by specialist police and autopsist, Mr. Norng Sowannaroth, the victim died of a heart attack due to high blood pressure and kidney problems. RIP.

Manu Dupre lived in Phnom Penh for a lot longer than that. He owned and operated La Marmite restaurant for the last fifteen years or so.

Yes, and the poor fellow was terminally ill over two years ago. Surprised he lived this long.

Living in Cambodia really impacts your longevity. That guy probably wouldn't have croaked in his 50s if he'd had a proper medical environment.

Its a bit frightening, but you are correct.
The official average age of foreigners kicking the bucket in Cambodia was just under the age of 51 for the year 2018.
Theres obviously something drastically wrong.

The food and the heat doesn't help, I think im going to collapse very time I walk out the apartment
