Another meth dealer goes down, but there are always more.

No reason to believe that there was any local market since Kampot is a place that attracts very respectable expats and travellers.

Drug ringleader escapes capture
Police in Kratie and Tboung Khmum provinces are hunting a drug ringleader who escaped a joint operation that netted his wife on Sunday.
Buth Nhoeun, deputy police chief of Kratie’s Snuol district, said the identity of the husband has been distributed to commune authorities to aid in the search to arrest him.
“We have not found the husband yet, but we have already identified him and given his identity to village and commune authorities so they can be on alert to spot him,” he said.
A Kratie provincial police report identified the wife as Khoeun Phatya, 22, and the husband as Sron Khom, the mastermind of drug trafficking in Tboung Khmum province.
