200 Kg Crocodile Fished out of Meteuk River, Pursat
Pursat, Cambodia News: On September 25, 2018, a man named Meung Min, caught a 200 kg crocodile at Meteuk River, Veal Veng district, Pursat.
The man said he put the fishing net in the river overnight and in the morning he found a 200kg crocodile was stuck in his net. He reported the matter to the police, asking for help to catch the crocodile.
After that, the police took the crocodile to keep at police post border no. 825, waiting for the orders from the General.
This is the third report of a crocodile capture in three months, three crocodiles were caught in fishing nets in July, so it is not rare, but this specimen is particularly large. The previous reported catches took place in a Kampong Thom canal

The one in Sihanoukville is a juvenile, probably only 2 or 3 years old:This crocodile caught in Sihanoukville does not look like the same species.
Most crocodiles here are hybrids of Siamese and Saltwater crocodiles.
Silence, exile, and cunning.

The Khmer Times report claimed it was only 100kg
