Just looking at that tin fence, the scaffolding that does not go right down to the ground and the green safety netting makes me think the whole building site is a total danger area to workers,.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

Re: 16Yo Construction Worker Falls from 20th Floor Building
UPDATE: The victim was only 16, and was one of several teenagers under 18 years of age who were working on this building site.
Cambodia News, Phnom Penh: Later news reveals that the teenager, who died after a dramatic 20-storey fall from a Phnom Penh building site, was in fact only 16-years-old. Police said the victim, Nim Nun, a 16-year-old construction worker, was from Chambok commune, Baray district, Kampong Thom province.
The accident occurred on July 9, 2020 at 9:15 am, located at # 20, Street 322, Boeung Keng Kang I, Boeung Keng Kang.
Witnesses say that shortly before the accident, the victim was on the 19th floor with three teenage girls, aged 16 and 17, and an 18-year-old boy, all working on the site. The victim went up to the 20th floor to bring some concrete, when he slipped and fell down the elevator shaft to the ground. He was killed instantly.
[Note that according to Cambodian health and safety regulations, it is illegal to employ children under the age of 18 for hazardous or dangerous work.]
Conclusion: According to the examination by the Office of the Technical and Scientific Police, and certified by Dr. Nong Sovannroth,
the victim died of severe head trauma.
The body has now been handed over to his uncle for a traditional ceremony in Kampong Thom province. RIP.

Re: 16Yo Construction Worker Falls from 20th Floor Building
CEO News notes: There are many deaths by accident on Cambodian construction sites. However, in this particular case it is in direct contravention with international labor laws to have 16-year-olds working on a building site under hazardous conditions,( at the top of a 20-storey building under construction). Furthermore, correct security measures for workers were not in place on the site, and according to the accident report, an 18-year-old was supervising the gang of underage workers, aged 16 and 17, at the time of the fatal accident.
These working conditions are commonplace in Cambodia, despite the fact that Cambodia has ratified C138 - Minimum Age Convention, 1973 (No. 138), the International Labor Organization (ILO)convention on the minimum age for workers, where article 3 specifically states that it is illegal to employ minors, under the age of 18, for work that is morally or physically dangerous. (See below).

Ratifications for Cambodia
C138 - Minimum Age Convention, 1973 (No. 138)
Article 3
1. The minimum age for admission to any type of employment or work which by its nature or the circumstances in which it is carried out is likely to jeopardise the health, safety or morals of young persons shall not be less than 18 years.-
