Know a couple who bought a condo at m residence, kept telling me it was a studio with a balcony for 50k

I went to visit and it's not much bigger than a jail cell in the west and the balcony was only wide enough to stand on so you can look at the brick wall right Infront of you

I don't trust pretentious names mixing French and English in the wrong order, it's always glittered crap trying to sound fancy/classy/pompous.

And no pictures. Seriously? Marketing 101 fail.

It's like businesses on FB advertising products and demanding you PM them for the price.

To me, that sounds expensive. But I have to admit that I don't know the actual rate charged by EdC in Phnom Penh nowadays. In Bangkok, that would be a rip-off rate, but I think electricity is more expensive in Cambodia.

I pay more than double that amount for power so stopped using my big gun ( air conditioner )
I just got it all cleaned out and maintained but stopped using it .
For some reason my unit is super hot 🥵 , it must be near to hell .
It is ground floor so no balcony for me to jump off of .. )
But I believe a little in karma and hope that guy who owes me $7,000 has a horrific future ,
.. and maybe I can do a little penance here and have some payback in purgatory but avoid eternal
torment in that place where the guy with the horns and the pointed stick conducts his business

Electric is more expensive in PP, but 1000 riel is still about a 30% mark up over government rates in PP. I don’t know of any condo or serviced apartment that will give you less than 1000 riel. And that is one good reason to avoid that whole sector entirely.

To be fair, the De or D’ prefix simply indicates Malaysian ownership (now or previously).
