We buy concrete from concrete plant, they don't use plasticiser as I know. We make concrete strength lab tests in PP, so everything is under control.

Why isn't there double brick cavity exterior walls with ventilation specially with the moisture problems the Cambodian climate can present.
Will have to rely on a high build exterior waterproofing membrane to insulate.
Expect a lot of mold.

Hence my question about plasticiser - I'm amazed how little it's used in the tropics, which absolutely eats concrete.

And with such high humidity to slow the curing rate i suspect they were in for the easy lay as well.
Wonder how far away the mixing is done.

Haha. Makes me think of a building site that was across the road from us. Just a small construction so just a portable concrete mixer...
Anyway, when it was completed and it was time to pack up, the "builders" realised that their mixer was concreted to the ground. It took 2 days to get it out. :ROFL2:
