Thanks for this excellent post. Is there any similar advice you can offer for buying property, in particular condo's?

Don't, as they're overpriced..? ;-)

Property values in PP are well into the bubble stages and the investment, unless you find a steal, is probably a bad idea.

Sorry Vlad, but clicking on your post does nothing. Or do you mean simply clicking it open, adds to points.

Click on the green Karma + button under my avatar, I think that's how it works

No problem if you can't add karma

Vlad, genuine question, are you interested in helping us find new accommodation for a modest fee, and we can post back here on the experience?

Hi Stroppy,

May be interested.

What area? What do you want? Finders normally get 1 month's rent...I don't know if you want to give that much, no problem if you don't.

Give me more details, and we can talk

A plastic slush-bucket is usually more effective for ice than even an expensive refrigerator.
Thanks for taking the time. :good: I will print this out for use, and post a link when we get asked about rent in Cambo on other forums. It's getting more popular with young internet earners, because of the visa issues in Thailand.

What's a slush bucket, and why is it better than a fridge?

I can't give karma yet. I think it's 15 posts before you see the + option.
