Cozy 3 bedroom flat-House

Looking for an apartment to rent in Phnom Penh? We have you covered. This is a good starting point for expats who are in the process of moving to Cambodia to live and work. Finding a villa, condo, flat, or borey to stay in when you arrive is probably one of your top priorities. Check out our listings from the community! And if you have a house or apartment for rent, you're welcome to list it here for free. Kampot, Siem Reap, Battambang, Sihanoukville, and other provinces around Cambodia also have places to rent, but you might have better luck finding them on foot after you arrive, as the largest number of listings are in the capital city of Phnom Penh.

$1000/pm at Wat Phnom sounds expensive to me. It's not an area I would start negotiating with a price like that. It's a shame because the owner obviously fronted good capital on renovations, just in the wrong place...

Depends on what the person is doing living here. Personally I think for a developing country prices are expensive overall. If going by living wage I find it hard to see how after eating, the average Khmer can live.
Always "hope" but never "expect".

Many (perhaps most) disagree with you. The price is seen as directly corresponding to the location. Perhaps you've heard this? Location, location, location? As an estate agent surely you know that houses in Steung Meanchey, for example are not as expensive as houses in better areas?
