Apartment For rent

Looking for an apartment to rent in Phnom Penh? We have you covered. This is a good starting point for expats who are in the process of moving to Cambodia to live and work. Finding a villa, condo, flat, or borey to stay in when you arrive is probably one of your top priorities. Check out our listings from the community! And if you have a house or apartment for rent, you're welcome to list it here for free. Kampot, Siem Reap, Battambang, Sihanoukville, and other provinces around Cambodia also have places to rent, but you might have better luck finding them on foot after you arrive, as the largest number of listings are in the capital city of Phnom Penh.

It probably works well if you were lying on the floor, as they do.

And Thailand's extortionate? I pay $550 a month for a one bed, fully furnished (and modern) apartment with a gym and swimming pool. That includes twice weekly cleaning, internet access, cable TV, Western style kitchen, a parking space (which admittedly I don't use), 24 hour security, a reception staff which caters to my every whim (including arranging transport, delivery of parcels, etc.), a cafe in the building (both cheap and good quality food and coffee) and full laundry facilities. My electricity bill is 1/4 what it was in Siem Reap too. It's also within walking distance of the old city; that is "where the action is" (what little there is in Chiang Mai).

I don't remember anyone ever trying to say that rentals in Thailand were bad value. Interesting to get the comparison, but I will never live in Thailand anyway so it doesn't really matter.

I could do better back home (as long as I went North) than the apartment in this advert. It's the worst value I've seen anywhere in Asia. You could get better value in KL, Saigon, Bangkok, etc. than this. It's genuinely appalling and "ease of visa" doesn't cut the difference at all.

Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.
