Looking for a Social Media Marketing expert

This is our job board for expats. Until ZipRecruiter and Indeed make their way to the Kingdom of Wonder, this is the best place to look for employment in Cambodia, whether you're looking to teach English, manage a 5-star hotel, volunteer, or even work for some of the big NGOs. Even digital nomads who move to Cambodia sometimes need a side gig as a TEFL instructor from time to time. Most professional expatriate jobs are in Phnom Penh, but Siem Reap and Kampot are emerging as attractive alternatives. If you're an employer or hiring manager, you're also welcome to post your job listing here for free.

Rory Hennessy is a registered migration attorney in NZ, which you will know since you read the Meet the Team section of the website.
And the blurb claims I am a CV writer of 13 years, not that I am 13 years old lol. It's actually 15 years now though, I need to edit that.

Thanks for the comments everyone, as useful as tits on a bull as usual but thanks for bumping the post.

The photo of the guy with the kitten and the woman at a party could be changed to something slightly more formal and professional looking. Just a tip.

Alex wrote: Sun Jul 30, 2023 4:58 pm So people are expected to apply without even knowing what they sign up for? Full-time vs. part-time, employed vs. freelance, salary, perks if any, ... there's a lot of details about "the position" missing...

I honestly don't know if things are different in Cambodia, but if I posted such a poorly written job ad here in Thailand, I wouldn't get even a single reply from a qualified professional - just from desperate chancers. Anyone who has the skills and experience wants to know at first glance how this offer compares to their current job.
Since it's a remote position, a lot will be negotiable.
I asked my recruiting expert and she said salary is not mentioned on job adverts, so I left it off.
See that's the thing, it really depends on "where", in some countries it's pretty much expected to mention the salary and in others it isn't.

I don't know about Cambodia specifically, but then again, is your "recruiting expert" based in Cambodia?

So it's a remote position, okay, we did make some progress establishing the facts. A bit like pulling teeth.

The above still doesn't explain which entity would be the employer, and the website doesn't make it clear where the company (if there is one) is registered, in fact it doesn't seem to give any address or contact details (other than the form) at all. That would be a red flag to a lot of people.
CV writer for 13 (or 15) years sounds better in English English, but each to their own.

So you have come to the point that a business idea and a template based website is not enough to get traffic (and finally paying customers) for your website.

As you can see on many freelance sites a person with the skills needed as per your request are very much in demand by ANYONE running a (sales) website. Worldwide. Means the good ones cost a lot, the bad ones will produce no result (and still cost).

Be prepared to fork out thousands of dollars for the pro's/experts in SEO and marketing (without ANY guarantee of success). What you have done so far is the easy (and cheap) part of setting up a web based business. Unfortunately it is necessary to invest a block of cash for the next step. If not your idea will be an idea only and never grow into a profitable business.
work is for people who cant find truffles

and to add to the above

the internet in the past few months has been over run with AI generated template websites that even join affiliate networks for you automatically!!!
finding quality online is going to get even harder and ranking .....fugetaboutit

FYI:
having this , "...with a focus on people leaving South Africa"... on ur home page is a mistake
as it will turn everyone but SA's off

I thought the OP was expanding into Let’s Go Cambodia including relocation services for expats. Do keep up people. It’s not all about the CVS.
Despite what angsta states, it’s clear from reading through his posts that angsta supports the free FreePalestine movement.

The first three words of the OP are "We are hiring".
Who is "we"?
If I wasn't familiar with this forum I would be thinking that this was a people trafficking cyber-scam business.
