Jeez, that's the only store Ihave been in. Doubt you need the best store in town for something mundane like a range extender. I'd go for cheapest or most convenient.

Hahaha, no wonder you have IP problems! Regular or lite cans?

There's plenty of "mundane" items that are hard to source in Cambodia...which is why I'm having to travel to Phnom Penh, as the stores in SHK don't seem to stock them!wackyjacky wrote:Doubt you need the best store in town for something mundane like a range extender. In this case I meant best store for my needs. Cheap and convenient, but most importantly "in stock", would all suit my needs...

I have been buying my computers at PSC for the last few years. If anybody said that PSC are pompous and self-important, I would certainly agree. But then again, they always seem to pick exactly those models (at good prices), that I am interested in buying. I will always buy brand name laptops, unless the no-brand is less than 40% of the price of a solid brand. The no-brands never are. My current laptop is a Dell, but before that I've had Acer, Asus, and Lenovo. These brands mean it when they extend a year or two years of warranty, and I know from experience that a shop like PSC will really honour that kind of obligations. In my impression, the small shops with their no-brand equipment are not worth the risk in that respect. They would have to cut their prices much deeper for me to consider buying from them.

Do you mean crap like Singtech?
I bought Acer twice, but never again. The touchpad on the 2nd one is effed, I feel like punching the Acer CEO every time I use it, horrible.Next time probably Asus/Dell.
