What’s an islander Australian? I’ve heard the term for Kiwis but not Australians.
Maori, Tongan & Samoan (my mates are Samoans)
If you have ever lived in Queensland where their populations are quite large, "Islander" more often brings to mind "Australian South Sea Islanders" - the decedents of the indentured/enslaved pacific islanders who were bought to Australia in the 19th century, mostly to work in the sugar cane industry.
Or "TI's". Indigenous australians from the Torres Strait islands - racially Melanesian (predominantly).

Would love to give these wild Cambodian porkers a try...although I think calling them "wild" is misleading as they are actually being farmed.

Didn't notorious scammer George Blake claim to be raising "wild" Cambodian boars on a farm up North?
I have had Lechon, the roasted baby pig in Cebu, Philippines and that was excellent. It is apparently a speciality of Cebu who have the right pig for it. There was a place in Phnom Penh run by Filipinas that did Lechon on the first Friday of the month, but it was tough and not good.
