Sundays is buy 2 get 1 free at Pizza 5. Pizza isn't quite in the realm of Luigi's, but $11 for 3 pizzas delivered is a great deal.

Unfortunately they offer neither proper Rye or Sour Dough (You will have to go Whole Grain or Honey Oat) but Molly Das does excellent Pastrami and/or Corned Beef Sandwiches. They are my go to choice when I crave a Reuben Sandwich. The Khmer owner is ex-Subway overseas so they follow the "Sub" Sandwich model.

St 172 about a block east of Blue Dolphin plus they deliver.
I just tried Molly's sandwich shop for the first time and thought it was quite good. There's a post on TOF saying she is ex-Fatboy's, and I noticed that she offers a "Dagwood" sandwich like Fatboy's. then I noticed that the whole menu looks a lot like the Fatboy's menu, though I didn't due a full investigation to determine if it's an exact copy.

I'm surprised she doesn't sell potato chips. How hard is it to buy some bags of potato chips, mark up the price, and put them on the menu?
Chatting with her once, she had mentioned she had worked in Subway in Africa for a number of years (not specific which country). I think she might deliver chips if you asked ... she does cookies ... once delivered beer with my sandwich on a rainy night where i could not be arsed to go out
So I was slumming on Street 172 this afternoon and I went into Molly's for a BLT sandwich.

I walk in and I notice there's no one in there. No customers, no staff, no one.

I walk up the counter and stand there for a while. I didn't have any keys to passive aggressively jangle, so instead I lightly plopped my wallet on the counter hoping a staff member in the back room might here it and come to serve me.

It turns out the staff member wasn't in the back room. As soon as my wallet hit the counter, she sat up from behind/under the counter, where she had been lying down and sleeping like George Costanza under his desk at Yankee Stadium.

I tell her (it wasn't Molly BTW) I want a BLT, she says "no have today" and I say thanks and leave her to go back to sleep.

As above.
Have been occasionally going there for years. The lady there knows me well, even though I cannot be close to a regular customer.

Enjoy the pizza. The price is more than reasonable.
There’s so many opinions aboutwhat constitutes good pizza, but this does tick the boxes.

Well if your talking about real Italian pizza there is none in PP, perhaps Il Forno in BKK1 but don't expect the real Mc'Cow.

Now, to be fair, Italian pizza is pretty varied.
I’ve enjoyed pizza in Milan, and absolutely hated it in Venice.
In Venice, it was crisped cardboard in many places. I’m sure they’re all considered authentic.

So, let’s have input from an Italian what constitutes Italian. Bearing in mind the youth of the country. (ie. Garibaldi is more than a biscuit)*

Still Luigi's, in TTP. Haven't had a pizza there in a while but got a great lasagna and caprese there a few days ago.

Otherwise Pizza 4Ps is Japanese owned but tasty and good value.

Pizza is just fast food, like fish and chips. But like fish and chips if made with fresh, classic ingredients it can be a real treat.

The last genuinely good one I had was in Naples, but they can be found all over Italy. Of course pizzerias vary. Tripadvisor is a good inverse guide: avoid the popular ones. I think Yong discovered this in Paris with bistros.

In Asia the biggest challenge is to get them to add enough anchovies (expensive). And someone needs to tell them here that pizza napoletana does not include sliced olives (cheap).
