Turkey for Christmas lunch/dinner, where?

Post by mikeukt »

Any recommendations for medium priced, as in not Sofitel $100 up. Just to be clear, I don't need free flow drinks or anything fancy. It's me wife and pre-teen daughter, 2 or 3 course, central location. Any suggestions?

Lone Star @ $14.50 per head looks like a good deal

I beg to differ, but turkey is for me the most tasteless and boring meat of all meats I ever tried. Its about tradition or what? :o

I haven’t had a Turkey roast in years. I actually really enjoy a well cooked Turkey, as opposed to an over cooked one. My mother was a pretty dab hand, but my aunt more so. It’s a relatively delicate taste for sure, but done well and enhanced by accompaniments, rather than overpowered with them makes a great dish.

Hence I rarely eat roasts anywhere, as they just don’t cut it.
