Who do you pay? And why can't the person who takes your money pour the beer?

And what if you want a mixed drink?

Thankyou for your Question the reason why were are operating the Self Serve Service is because of Khmer New Year and Staff going to Provinces so you pay into a pot you then pour your drink through the Self Serve Service and enjoy, and if you require a mixed drink the Trust goes further. There will be a Person there but he is only there as an observer, the trust is all on you. :beer3:

I think it's a great idea, and a good way to keep the business open while allowing the Cambodian staff to go home and enjoy the KNY with their families. Hopefully most of the customers you get are honest, but I'm sure you'll still get some dishonest cheap charlies trying to (literally) take the piss.

i appreciate your feedback my freind and i think you have to give people a chance in life to prove that we do all live in a humane society and give people a freedom, free of restrictions and a relaxed and non complicated enviroment, we are doing this on a trial basis so everyone can enjoy over KNY, but there will be someone on hand if any problems, but as i said he's just there as an observer.

So no card or voucher/token system? Just straight up trust that the 75c beer drinker will only drink the number of beers he's paid, in advance, for?

A few laminated drinks tokens might add a layer of complexity to the situation but the guy watching just has to check the drinker/pourer throws a token in the box before pouring the beer.

It would be impossible to find any useful replacement staff at the moment.

Damn, the man is offering self-serving $.75 beers, don’t understand all the questioning as to “why not this” and “why not that”, it doesn’t appear the owner is looking for or needing alternatives on how to run his business during this time. The owner is relying on an honor system so his employees can spend time with their families over the holiday. Admirable. If some POS decides to take advantage of that for a free beer or two to save a few dollars, well shame on them and hopefully karma will bite them in the ass if it happens.

Good intentions are sometimes the mother of a fuck up. Self Service will end in a desaster.Just immage the half drunk pourings their drink/beer when it gets late. Then immagine the drunk ones a bit later on. Not talking about any retards who dont know shit about a draught (assuming there is one). Not talking about the nasty MOFOS who cant even piss straight in the toilet. Would love to be there to prove me wrong.
