The Frog and Parrot

Post by Deefer »

If anyone could help out with information on when the Frog and Parrot Bistro opened and what became of it when it closed; it would be much appreciated.
It was located at 273C Sisowath Quay and the was next door to the Jungle Bar (which was next to Riverside Bistro).

Cheers and thanks.

^^ The wall in the background would suggest The Rising Sun.

It was never called a bistro.

Its name was the frog and shamrock until it closed in 2012.

Now its a burger king, I think.

prahocalypse now, you are on the money. The video would have been taken some years later when it was under new ownership as Karma.
Any information on the Frog and Parrot would be appreciated. Possibly dating back to early 2000's.

I think it (the Frog and Shamrock) may have changed name (to Frog and Parrot) and location after it was sold.

Was the Frog and Shamrock down near the Night Market?

Did they have spiders on the menu?

If it's the place I'm thinking of, Sun Visor Huw got banned from there.

Wasn't it owned by the guy who, on one occasion, advertised 107% of one of his businesses for sale? :hattip:

Do you mean the Winking Frog, or the Pickled Parrot per chance?

Wasn't that the Drunken Frog at lakeside which became the Drunken Sponge on St. 51?
