It was near Jungle Bar/ Riverside Bistro, then rents went up around 2008 and the owner Steve moved further north on Sisowath nearer to 108, and it was renamed Frog and Shamrock. He subsequently moved his business to Sihanoukville, and I don't know what happened after that.

Thanks John, that was the information I was after.

From what I have been able put together:
"The Frog & Parrot" was sold and became "Karma" which in turn was sold and became "Nelsons"; as it is today.
"The Jungle Bar" next door, was sold and became "Anjali" which in turn was sold to "Riverside Bistro" which extended into it.

Thanks also to prahocalypse now for the video of "Karma". (The internet holds no secrets).

Cheers and thanks to all for the information.

Steve moved to Sihanoukville in early 2012. He "bought" ( its a long story!) Whiskey bar on Victory hill. After ripping a few people off ( another long story), he had no choice but to move back to the Uk in ( I think) 2014, maybe early 2015. His bestest friend was "Big John" from Chilaxn. That should explain a lot.
Hadn't thought about him for years, then by sheer coincidence, a mate lent me a book the other day that has the "Frog and Parrot" stamp on it. The whiteout that covered the original 2nd hand sales price of $2 had worn off and Steve's inked in price of $4.50 shone through. Typical.

I knew it wasn't The Rising Sun because although they both have rock poster sort of decor The Rising Sun has more framed stuff and has always been well-looked after. Steve seemed ok to me but both his bars on the Riverside were pretty grotty, the later one had a bar made out of old crates and planks or something. He made me laugh when he proclaimed The Frog and Shamrock the best Irish pub in Cambodia in adverts and signs. It wasn't even the best Irish pub on the north end of the Riverside, and he wasn't even Irish, he was Welsh. 8-)

Riverhouse, not Riverside Bistro. The latter is on the river front several streets away.

All 3 bars/bistros mentioned are/were on the riverfront at 273 AB&C Sisowath Quay.

273A is Riverside Bistro
273B was the Jungle bar/Anjali but now part of Riverside Bistro when Andy extended into it.
273C was the Frog and Parrot/Karma and now Nelsons.

Cheers to all. Have a nice day and thanks for the information.

It was Riverside Bistro, Riverhouse is way down the quay on the corner of 110.
